Dear Newcastle Families,

Thank you for making Multicultural Family Night a huge success! It was truly heartwarming to see so many of you come together to celebrate the diverse cultures that make our school community so special. From the delicious food and colorful displays to the heartfelt performances and warm conversations, every part of the evening reflected the spirit of unity and peace.

We are grateful to all the volunteers, participants, and families who helped bring this night to life. Your great attitude and support made it an unforgettable event!

Newcastle won a school visit from Blitz for haveing the best attendance at the Nourish Every Mind luncheon last week.

Hey Newcastle families!

Starting at a new school can be really exciting, but also quite challenging. There are many new opportunities, and many new families, with many questions. How does the car pickup line work? When and where are soccer sign-ups? Where can I get my kid a haircut? Where should we do ballet? The list goes on!

We have created a WhatsApp group for all new families and existing Newcastle Elementary parents and caregivers across each grade. We hope you will join the group, to either be welcomed or assist in the welcoming and to ask questions or provide infinite knowledge about Newcastle Elementary and related school programs.

Use the QR code to join. The intent is that this is a low effort way to crowdsource input from fellow families when a new, or current family has a question. Email Stephanie at: newcastleptsa.outreach@gmail.com if you need any assistance!

What is the Angel Program?

The Angel Program exists to support our families impacted by financial hardships. Our school counselor assists these families in identifying community resources. Volunteers within Newcastle Elementary fulfill additional family requests. Each of our families/students and volunteers remain anonymous.

Be Brave.

Privacy of all requests will be respected. From a winter coat to school supplies, rain boots to a birthday gift, our school counselor, Kailey Mutter, is available to help in a time of need. Please send an email to mutterk@issaquah.wednet.edu.

Be an Angel. Become an Angel Donor.

Angel Donors directly impact the health and well-being of Newcastle students. Anyone can be an Angel Donor by shopping, purchasing and/or delivering requests. Email newcastleptsa.angel@gmail.com for inquiries.

Be a Model.

Demonstrate to your student the importance of giving and receiving. Be the foundation and build a stronger community.
