This Friday at 9:30 am in the Commons Stage Room, the PTSA and Mr. Mellish are hosting another Coffee Talk.  This is an open and informal forum for conversation about what is happening at Newcastle and the issues that affect our school and community.  Participants are welcome to bring topics to discuss.

Some possible discussion topics include...

  • The ISD Levy: What is the Levy used for and how will that benefit our students?
  • Technology at Newcastle
  • Classroom communications - email, website, Seesaw and Dojo - what works best?
  • A new Principal - What is the process and potential impacts of a change in school leadership? 
  • State and District Testing: how much, why and what do we do with the data?
  • School security upgrades: What is coming?  Why? How will that change our safety plans?
